Built in 1493, a masterpiece by Biagio Rossetti and a symbol of the prestige of the House of Este.

Palace built in 1493, masterpiece of the court architect and urban planner, Biagio Rossetti.

Its name refers to the 8,500 "diamonds" that make up the marble ashlars of the original cladding. 

Decorated with carved chandeliers and a later added balcony, the palace was designed for a diagonal view and its optimal focal point is the angle.

Located at the crossroads between the two main arteries of Addizione Erculea, the building is the symbol of the prestige and glory of the House of Este, who lived in it until 1641. 

On the ground floor is the Municipal Gallery of Modern Art and on the main floor is the National Pinacoteca.
