The museum is housed in a 16th century building, which was originally built as the headquarters of the Sancti Spiritus hospital, transferred in 1868 to the old Capuchin Convent.
It exhibits a collection of works of art linked to the old collegiate church of Santa María.
Its seven rooms are arranged on three floors, with a central courtyard with four ringed columns as its axis, a unique example of Aragonese Renaissance architecture.
